Ok, not really crawling. Just sitting there on his hands and knees for about a minute. Then he has to lay his head down on the ground. It's heavy.

You can't see them in this one but it's just funny! Can't say he enjoyed the lip-pulling. :)

Rough Week

This has been a rough week on Owen! Not only has he been suffering from his first cold but as we mentioned, he is also getting his two front teeth (bottom) in. And to top it all off, last night he was a screaming machine from 1:30 AM to 6:30 AM with only short bouts of sleep when he could no longer keep himself awake. We think it was a stomach ailment, but it clearly could have been a number of things. Nothing helped. It was by far the worst night of our parenting careers. Nevertheless, here are some happy pictures from before the terrible night. On a happy note, he's in good spirits today!

No Smiles from Sickie

The sickie is refusing to smile for the camera. It's day four of Owen's first cold and he is wearing me out. The poor baby! He doesn't enjoy the snotty nose.

We have also discovered that his two bottom teeth are now coming in but we don't think that is causing his discomfort ... yet.

Hopefully soon there'll be some big smiles on the blog. But for now, this half-smirk will have to do.

Quite the Combination

The combination of drool and snot has taken over Owen in the form of his first cold, or perhaps caused by teething (the first sign of a break through of a tooth was today!)

We're up in Issaquah now visiting Ashley's family. Yesterday, we went to the Children's Museum in Bellevue (last two pictures). And Owen has been having fun playing with his cousin's toys.
