Owen loves toys, which is great because he has a ton thanks to hand-me downs from his cousins! We went to Ikea today (which was exhausting! Owen passed out in Papabear's arms. ) and bought a new storage solution to house most of Owen's toys in the closet downstairs.

Fun with Grandma and Grandpa

Grandma and Grandpa Johnson visited this weekend. Owen had lots of fun playing with them and showing off all of his new tricks! Grandma and Grandpa babysat on Saturday night so mom and dad could go out. Owen enjoyed the break from his crazy parents! Oh ... and Grandma really was there ... even if the pictures don't show it!

Owen has figured out that his hands can grab and hit things (including me and my hair). And he's figured out how to entertain himself by grabbing and hitting toys. It's a nice new chapter since it allows Owen to spend some time playing by himself so I can do a few more small things throughout the day!

We're Back!

Well, we didn't actually go anywhere, we just didn't update the blog for a couple days! We actually didn't take any pictures for a couple of days! What's wrong with us!? We apologize to the fans.

Owen is fantastic. As Travis mentioned, he's started laughing, which is pretty much the cutest sound in the whole world. He's a pro with his hands now. He reaches out and grabs everything. Just today he discovered his own feet and played with them for a couple of minutes.

It was a big day today as Owen made his first real laugh. The best part was I got to witness it first but was even able to get Owen to do it again for Mommy. Her task for tomorrow is to get it on video, good luck.
